Danielle Snaathorst

Danielle assists individuals in the Netherlands and abroad in acquiring Dutch citizenship based on their Dutch ancestry, relationship with a Dutch national or residence in the Netherlands. She also has expertise on permanent residence, family reunification and labor migration.

Having lived in multiple countries, Danielle understands the needs of her clients. She knows how stressful it can be to navigate a new language, culture and bureaucracy. Her goal is to take some of this stress away with her proactive, informative, and collaborative approach to her cases.

Danielle joined Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers in 2020 and was sworn in as an attorney in 2022. Prior to this, she worked as an immigration consultant at an international immigration law firm in Brussels, and as a junior researcher at Utrecht University, where she evaluated the Dutch transgender law. She also completed internships at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal in Cambodia and at a human rights law firm in Amsterdam.

Danielle studied law at Utrecht University. In 2017, she earned a master’s in Public International Law at Utrecht University with cum laude honors. Her bachelor’s included a minor in Gender Studies. She also completed courses in German at Leipzig University. During her studies, she was a student assistant at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights.
